Sandra PaulDirector of Information Technology
Township of Union Public Schools Sandra currently serves as the Director of Information and Technology for the Township of Union Public Schools. Past Chief Technical Officer for the Sayreville Public Schools. Sandra has 20+ years of experience as a Director and previously worked as a Computer Science and Business Education teacher for 5 years.
Sandra was awarded administrator of the year by NJASL (New Jersey Association of School Librarians) in 2007, a finalist for the 2014 Bammy Awards for Support Staff, named in the Top 30 Technologists, Transformers and Trailblazers 2015 and named in the Top Most Social K-12 Tech Leaders on Twitter.
Sandra has presented at several educational technology conferences in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. These presentations and panel discussion included topics on Globalization, Future of technology in Education, BYOD in K thru 12, Digital Citizenship, Diversity in IT, Coding for all K thru 12, Disaster Recovery in K-12, Cloud Computing in K-12, Meshing your Network K-12, etc.
Sandra serves as the chairperson for Technology Advocacy for NJAET, a member of the Emerging Technology Committee for CoSN and ISTE, and an organizer for EdcampNJ. Presently a doctoral student at American College of Education.
